A question to the whole parish

Last month I concluded a series on "Explaining and Defending Our Catholic Faith." The focus of the eight lessons was to teach good Catholics how to respond to bible-believing Christians and fallen-away Catholics WHAT we believe and WHY we believe it. The tools we used were the bible, history and common sense. The subject matter covered the question of the bible alone as the sole means of reveleation, the authority of the apostles and Church, the Eucharist, the sacrament of the forgiveness of sins, and Mary.
Now, I'd like to offer this same material to new attendees. We'll begin the week after Easter on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in the de Paul Room. We finish promptly, at eight. There is no cost or obligation, as the commercials say. You'll need a bible, but if you don't have one, I'll even give you that.
Additionally, I'd like to continue the class with new topics, building on the material in the first series. My question is: what topics would you like to see covered? What are your most burning questions? What do non-Catholics ask you about our faith for which you need a clear, reasoned answer?
Here are some suggestions, but I'd really like your input: Are Catholics "saved?" What's the deal about purgatory? Is faith alone necessary for salvation? What is a sacrament? Why do Catholics pray to the saints?
There must be many more. Please write me or see me with your suggestions. This second-tier class will start the week after Easter, also, but will meet on Wednesday mornings from nine to ten-thirty.
Praised be Jesus Christ, now and forever!
